Launched in October 2023, Ludus: Merge Arena has been making waves. The game is celebrating a huge milestone of having over 5 million players worldwide and nearly $3 million in monthly revenue. All of this has prompted publisher Top App Games to release a massive update soon.
The Big Update: Clan Wars
Dropping at the end of March is a new feature which is all about expanding clan mechanics. They’re adding three new tabs Clan Shop, Clan Battle Pass and Clan War. The main attraction is Clan War which runs twice a month for eight days: five days of full-on battles and three days to wrap things up.
Winning in Clan Wars is all about flags. Every player gets two, but if you’re a premium subscriber, you start with three. The Battle Pass gives you an extra one or two, letting premium players use up to five flags in total.
These flags are your key to earning points in Ludus: Merge Arena and you can use them in two ways. The first is through regular PvP fights, where you’re up against random opponents. The second is the Assault mode, where you go after enemy base buildings.
Speaking of competition, each Clan War pits six clans against each other. At the end of it all, the top 100 clans score exclusive rewards. The list includes cosmetic upgrades and a golden clan name that stays visible until the next war.
There’s also the Clan Shop, where you can spend a special currency earned from Clan Wars. This update was something players had been waiting for. And I think it will only add to the growing player base of Ludus: Merge Arena.
